COMPLAINTS
The goal of the district is to resolve concerns with only the persons directly involved, whenever possible. Complaints about classroom practices shall be directed to the teacher concerned. Public complaints about the district will be directed to the Superintendent. If there is no resolution on this level, the Superintendent shall refer the issue to the Board for final resolution. All matters referred to the Superintendent and Board must be in writing (Policy 1400).
Proper channeling of complaints will be:
1. Teacher/staff member,
2. Superintendent,
3. Board of Trustees (Policy 1440)
