RECESS
All students are to attend recess unless there is a medical reason for not attending or have received a time out. Children who have notes from a doctor stating that they should not attend for health reasons will be excused from recess and gym class. The school does not hire extra supervision; therefore, students who do not attend recess will be supervised in the ãtime outä room. Students should be dressed for weather conditions (as stated in section, Dress Code, page 7). Recess is held outside when temperatures are above 20¡ F. Please make sure that your child wears a hat, boots or winter footwear, heavy pants, coat, mittens/gloves, and snow pants for primary. We do not want the children to get sick from not wearing appropriate clothes for the weather.
